Team Philotimo Adventure Series · Book One

Stolen Wells

Mysteries on the road. Science in the story. Honor when no one is watching.

When four cousins, Tess, Grant, Leo and seven-year-old Willa, are summoned to Joshua Tree National Park by ARGO, an advanced robotic Labrador Retriever, they must follow the clues to confront a billionaire CEO at the Coachella Music Festival before A.V.A.R.I.A., the powerful corporate AI, can stop them.

Adventure that moves. Knowledge that holds. Honor that does not look away.

Adventure

ARGO, a robot dog built as a guardian, and four cousins solve mysteries in Joshua Tree, Glacier Park, a desert music festival, and Yellowstone.

Knowledge

Each book keeps complete prose. Inline plates and Explore More pages carry the tools: water, solar, machines, maps, first aid. Pictures support the sentences. They do not replace them.

Honor

Philotimo is love and honor: doing the right thing when no one is watching. The Seven Quiet Powers are how the team trains that work, a little every day.

“Humans are beautifully unpredictable, and still they find north.”

ARGO · Chapter 9, North Star

Every chapter opens a door

Each chapter begins with a note from ARGO and ends with a Brain-Builder. In between are the plates and infographics: how a well runs dry, why a Joshua tree is not a tree, how a service dog is trained, where the North Star sits. Draft

Kids follow the mystery. Parents and teachers find the lesson already built in.

The real dog behind ARGO

Meet Boone

ARGO is modeled on Boone, a Labrador mix we found as a puppy in a Walmart parking lot near Glacier Park, Montana. He’s a registered U.S. service dog who loves all children, and even goes trick-or-treating with them on Halloween.

Real dogs like ARGO: service dogs, guide dogs, and how kids can help

Book Two · Cautious Current

The trail leads straight into the frozen wilderness of Glacier National Park, and into the crosshairs of a massive international conspiracy. A ruthless global cartel has quietly corrupted millions of microchips embedded in critical machinery worldwide. As falsified wildlife tracking data begins masking a deep-system failure, the clock starts ticking for Hungry Horse Dam.

Book Three · Fatal Fracture

Billions of dollars are pouring into “green” geothermal energy infrastructure, but Team Philotimo uncovers a terrifying hidden cost in Yellowstone and other areas. When the global investment threatens to trigger a global extinction event, standing for honor means stopping the machine.
